Start Here

Hello, are you new? Start here.

Welcome to my blog, my name’s Chel.  Hello and how are you? I am fairly new to blogging, and currently this site launched October of 2015.

The reason that I started this blog was for a few reasons:

  1. I wanted to let myself take a chance and what better way than to express myself on my own personal page.
  2. To find a community of for all things geek, wine, and other tomfoolery related posts.
  3. I also wanted to work on my writing and push myself.

The name came from both a nickname as well as the fact that I had a penchant for getting myself into trouble growing up. I could always hear my sister say “ooh, Chel” in my head for every single mistake. Shoot, I’d get lost in my driveway if there was enough fog.  Figure it’s bound to tell an interesting story or two.

I will be honest; I haven’t taken that leap and made it more super personal. I think that I’m still afraid to, but you get hints of it here and there. Instead, I’m working on turning this blog into a sharing my geek side.  Thing of this blog as a hodgepodge for the things that I love.  Fandom, wine, my dog, and romance.

What you can expect

It may look like my blog is all over the place, but I like to think it’s me working out all the kinks of owning something.  As well as wanting to branch off into so many categories I figure I’d round them out to five for now.

The Hours – are a personal collection of my day to day life here in Canada.

Writing – focuses on items that catch my fancy.  I write romance, family life away, and reviews to name a few.

Bolt – are just little rants and pictures of cute things my dog does.  I am currently working on a day in the life of my dog currently due out at the end of each month.

Geek – this is just the little tidbits of different fandom I enjoy or episode reviews as well as other tech items that I fancy.

Art – images and scans of my artwork which is sometimes digital and sometimes er… not. Coming Soon: Etsy Shop (Starting at the end of Summer)

Photography –all photos snapped by me and any helpful tutorials that I have found.

I hope that I can share with you my journey as well as a few laughs along the way.
